OUR MISSION

To eliminate the senseless, unnecessary killing of cats and dogs in Las Vegas area shelters. We focus on the critical need for affordable, high-quality veterinary care, including spay, neuter and vaccination services for companion animals and community cats. We also provide high-impact adoption and foster opportunities for at-risk animals.

To keep every pet in a happy and healthy home regardless of the family’s financial situation. We serve as a leader in high volume spay, neuter and wellness services for community cats to help alleviate population growth and health concerns. We operate lifesaving rescue programs for cats and dogs who need it the most and help educate our community about animal health and responsible pet ownership.

• Provide affordable, high quality spay and neuter services and vaccinations to pets and community cats, keeping animals out of shelters and off the streets.

• Give dogs with emotional, behavioral or medical issues a second chance by providing training, fostering and medical care by partnering with a women’s correctional facility. This program also provides the women participating with companionship, vocational training and therapeutic programming.

• Provide foster homes for at-risk
cats while providing companion animals for senior residents at no cost
to them through our Pawsitively Seniors program.

• Offer quality, affordable vet care through our Wellness Clinic to keep animals healthy, happy and with their families.

Donation drives: Plan a donation drive utilizing our online wish lists through Amazon and Chewy.

Online fundraisers: Organize a peer-to-peer online fundraiser utilizing social media or other giving platforms.

Corporate giving: Launch a workplace giving program enabling employees to support our mission directly.

Fundraising events: Participate as a donor, sponsor or bidder for our year-end event, Miracle on Eastern Ave.

From full time to one time, from our superstar administration staff to our powerhouse clinic team, we offer volunteer opportunities throughout our organization. Program Funding: Spay & Neuter Clinic, Pawsitively Seniors, Pups on Parole or Wellness Clinic

Community Cat Action Fund: Help us reduce the number of free-roaming cats as well as address their urgent medical needs.

In-Kind Donations: Our programs and facilities are always in need of new equipment, dog and cat supplies or items we can utilize in silent auctions or raffles. The sky’s the limit for in-kind donations.

Planned Giving: By designating Heaven Can Wait as a beneficiary in your will or trust, those assets will go directly to saving the lives of animals in need.

Donate a Vehicle: Money generated from the auction of your running or non-running vehicle, pop-up camper, SUV or boat will be used to fund our rescue and spay and neuter programs as well as provide community outreach and education.
