OUR MISSION
HOPE for Prisoners is committed to helping men, women and young adults successfully reenter the workforce, their families and our community.
OUR VISION
HOPE for Prisoners works to empower the formerly incarcerated and their families to create a successful future built on strategic leadership and character development. By assisting those fighting for second chances, we strive to serve, build and strengthen our community.
OUR GOAL
Our goal is to continue to impact the lives of men and women in our community by helping to facilitate successful reentry to people who have paid their debt to society, transformed their lives and are making positive contributions through hard work and giving back to others. In doing this, our work helps to reduce recidivism, increases public safety and creates a ripple effect that impacts the next generation.
FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES

Provides an intensive 40-hour prevocational leadership workshop for one client. The workshops are taught by leaders highly regarded in their areas of expertise.
$1,500 — Sponsorship of one HFP Weekly Huddle
Weekly huddles are an inspiring time for clients, alumni and the HFP family to come together. These meetings provide a safe space to connect by sharing our ongoing successes, struggles and desires as well as sharpening strategic leadership skills. Each Huddle generally features a prominent speaker from outside the organization.
$2,000 — 50 Christmases Family Sponsorship
In partnership with The Crossings Church, 50 families are given the opportunity to have Christmas together. Our community comes together to create a Christmas morning complete with a living room, tree and gifts. Your sponsorship supports this event and our Family Reunification Program.
$5,000 — Monthly Graduation Sponsorship
Monthly graduations are held at the office of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and include members of the police force, keynote speakers and community leaders sharing words of wisdom and congratulations to graduates of the HFP Prevocational Leadership Workshop. Friends and family of graduates are in attendance.
$TBD — Month of Second Chances Luncheon & Activities (April 2021)
HFP will commemorate this month with a luncheon, events and activities that raise public awareness about preventing crime and providing those who have completed their sentences an opportunity for an honest second chance.
