Monta Chaya Noodle Shop had opened in the Beltway Plaza shopping mall at South Eastern and Serene avenues in Henderson. Monta is an offshoot of the similarly named Japanese noodle restaurant on Spring Mountain Road that opened in 2010, causing something of a ramen craze in Las Vegas, according to the Las Vegas Weekly.
