Our Mission
To advance healthcare in our community by supporting the mission and values of Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican Hospitals through comprehensive annual and capital fundraising programs. Through fundraising and relationship-building, we improve community health and wellness for all southern Nevadans, especially the most vulnerable.
Our Vision
A healthier future for all, inspired by faith, driven by innovation and powered by our humanity.
Our Goals
The Foundation’s primary purpose is to secure resources for Nevada’s only faith-based, not-for-profit hospital system, which annually provides health care and community health prevention programs to more than 260,000 Nevadans, including 40,000 pediatric patients. Through the generosity of caring donors, the Foundation provides funds for new equipment and advanced technology; maintenance, expansion, and modernization of facilities; and the recruitment and retention of skilled professionals who provide high-quality health care for our community. Contributions also fund preventative community health programs at seven Dignity Health Wellness Centers throughout the valley.
Fundraising Opportunities
When the Adrian Dominican Sisters founded St. Rose Hospital in 1947, they transformed local healthcare. Now, it’s our turn. As we approach 80 years of service, we’ve set our most ambitious goal yet: raise $80 million by our 80th anniversary in 2027. Our 80 for 80 Campaign is designed to lead southern Nevada to a healthier future with groundbreaking technology and expanded life-saving services—all here at home. It’s a promise to honor our founders’ vision and deliver compassionate, innovative care that will impact lives for generations. Donations can be made in a variety of ways—through restricted or unrestricted giving, annual gifts, major gifts or planned gifts. Contributions can be directed to assist in areas most important to the donor.
Volunteer Opportunities
St. Rose volunteers serve a vital role in providing care to our community. Opportunities include:
• Help organize major events like the Foundation Gala and Swing for St. Rose Golf Tournament.
• Supporting community health programs like Helping Hands of Henderson, providing seniors with food deliveries and transportation to appointments.
• Supporting our New Mama Care Kits Assembly Day, where we organize supplies and information for hundreds of new low-income mothers.
• Serving as a Senior Peer Counselor, helping people over 50 to work through common life challenges and improve their quality of life.
• Volunteering at the hospital to assist patients and their families at the front reception desk, in the ER, at Nursing Stations, staffing The Caring Cart or as a pet therapy specialist.
Giving Opportunities
Donor contributions can be focused in areas most important to individual donors:
• Advanced Technology and Medical Simulation Equipment
• Healthcare Service Lines (i.e., cardiac, neurology, etc.)
