Fundraising Opportunities

Workplace Giving Campaigns: Offers local organizations a meaningful way to engage employees in giving back. Employees can easily contribute through payroll deduction—either to their favorite causes or directly to UWSN.

Employee Crisis Funds: UWSN partners with local companies to create a crisis/relief fund for employees to access during challenging times. Employees can apply for assistance through the crisis fund for one-time emergency needs.

UWSN Event Sponsorships: Annual events such as the Project REACH Senior Expos powered by NV Energy and Day of Caring, presented by PNC Bank, offer valuable sponsorship opportunities for local organizations to support our community.

Volunteer Opportunities

Day of Caring: One of the largest annual volunteer events in Southern Nevada, UWSN brings together hundreds of community members to support students, families, seniors and nonprofits across the valley, featuring breakfast, inspiring speakers, prizes and dozens of service projects. Volunteer Connect: Local nonprofits can post their projects and volunteers can discover opportunities to contribute to their community at no cost. Join UWSN’s Volunteer Connect today at volunteer.uwsn.org and make a difference in your own backyard!

Corporate Team Building: Strengthen workplace collaboration and give back to the community during our hands-on team building experiences, where teams come together to build kits tailored to community needs. Our team manages everything, from sourcing materials to setup and cleanup. Events are hosted at the business location or at United Way’s office on Flamingo Road.

Giving Opportunities

Make a gift at uwsn.org/donate to help young people succeed, empower people to achieve financial security, provide access to health resources, and strengthen crisis support to keep households stable. To address urgent needs, UWSN reactivated the Emergency Assistance and Community Needs Fund, providing food, shelter, rent, and utility assistance while also supporting the nonprofits that serve our community. Give today at uwsn.org/eacn to provide vital resources to those who need them most. UWSN also hosts collection drives throughout the year, including Operation Back to School, the UWSN Warmth Drive, and the Women United Suit Drive. Donated items are distributed through UWSN’s community partners, ensuring people have the essentials they need to thrive.
