First there was the "M". Now the "D". Only 24 letters left to choose from! Last time I went to Fitz. I went with some friends who were belittling me for only playing the nickel machines. When we left, they were both talking about what they had lost. I won maybe $40. They decided maybe my strategy was O.K.!
Does worst for flea markets mean there are too many of them? Or not enough? Most of us consider flea markets somewhat trashy.
As far as antiques go, I really enjoy "antiquing" in Las Vegas. One just has to know where to go and look. Plenty of choices, especially if you like old "Vegas memorabilia".
We rearely get bad service at restaurants in Las Vegas, but I tend to avoid buffets because of the rude customers (reaching into the shredded cheese with a bare at the taco bar is rude to me). There are certainly a lot of rude drivers in Las Vegas, but I'm from California where half of those rude drivers probably came from!
If the locations that toursts are likely to frequent are struggling (Strip, Downtown) the locations off the beaten path are certainly going to fare even worse. When someone like me chooses to stay off of the strip at a Station, Sams Town, etc., It is to save money on the room cost vs. the strip. Something the above resorts do not offer.
Dennis, While there will likely be a lot of Harleys at the auction, like the Scottsdale car auctions, This event will cater to collectors of vintage or rare motorcycles, not a "New Harley" which is readily available at your local dealer. I guarantee that any vintage indian, Harley or Vincent in the sale will draw plenty of interest (and money) from buyers. I'd love to go, just to see the vintage bikes and learn a little about then!
They left "Bob Stupak's Vegas World" (now Stratosphere) off of the list.
