I go into The Gun Store on Tropicana quite often. And guess who are always lined up out the door to shoot guns??? Foreign tourists, which a majority happen to have British accents. They seem to all leave laughing and smiling with their paper targets in hand like trophies.

I hope it succeeds, but I just don't see it working financially. Then again as long as it's private equity and not government funds I wish them all the luck in the world.

Posted on: Fees OK'd for opting out of NV Energy smart meter program

Been called a lot of things before but never a tin hat guy. Anyway, NV Energy is now GIVING away free "smart t-stats" to go with the smart meters. I'm not sure, but I believe they will have the ability to control your thermostat from their office.

If so, thats why I don't want it.
