Righthaven has maintained all along that the copyright assignments are valid especially after renewing their agreement with Stephens Media. Now they call their own copyrights "suspect". Sounds like they are undermining their own appeals.

Watch the 9th circuit again reject their emergency apeal. Plus, again where are they getting the money to file these appeals. They are stealing Wayne Hoehn's money to pay for them and they called their victims thieves.

I would like to know where Stg Rock is? Haven't heard from him for months.

Sounds like both Gibson and Mangano believe that planning to file an appeal gives them an automatic stay on any judgement or court orders? I am sure they would have felt the same if one of their victims refused to pay pending an appeal.

Makes you wonder if Gibson and his wife are not planning on fleeing the country? It wouldn't surprise me.

We may be heading into the criminal phase of the Righthaven saga? Bankruptcy is the least of Gibson's problems.

So where is Righthaven coming up with the money for another appeal? Steve Gibson's appearance in court to testify about Righthaven finances is going to be very interesting. If he shows up at all.

Even more important is Stephen Gibson will be required to account for Righthaven's financing under oath. This is where it will bet really interesting.

The Randeeza's should stipulate that Stephens Media nor Media News Group are eligible to bid. However the price they pay if they do end up having to buy them back will serve them right.

I would like to see someone buy copyrights then sue Stephens Media and Media News group for copyright infringement. Poetic Justice.

The two most pariah organizations on the planet banding together. A love affair made in Hell.

Cognastics.

Especially since so much of movie and music industry practices cause a lot of the piracy that goes on especially in other countries where people must wait weeks or even months for the legitimate movies and songs to be released there.

When you go to the legitimate site and it says the movie is not available in your country but it is readily available on countless pirate sites where do you go? If the movie and songs were released at the same time as the United States they would cut down on a good chunk of piracy.

Instead of doing the obvious things they are seeking to enact draconian laws that will punish everyone of us.

More of a reason to not give the music industry any money. If they do this they have gotten the last dime from me.

Legal arguments like these you can see why Righthaven is in so much trouble. Then again a lawyer with the intellect of a gnat would have seen the inherent problems with their scheme in the first place. Lawyers for Righthaven is, or should I say was, a wasteland for flunky lawyers.
